Description
NerdQaxe++ Bitcoin Solo Miner: Detailed Overview
The NerdQaxe++ is the world’s first open-source quad-chip Bitcoin solo miner, running four Bitmain S21 Pro ASICs in a compact home rig. Revision 6 ditches the fuse for uninterrupted uptime, adds a beefier XT30 power stage and thicker copper to run cooler, and now pushes over 6 TH/s at just over 100 Watts: roughly 16.5 J/TH, easily topping earlier versions. Its onboard 1.9″ LilyGO LCD doesn’t only show hashrate; it can track live Bitcoin price and key network stats, so you always know exactly how your miner and the market are performing.
Key Upgrades in NerdQaxe++ Revision 6 Bitcoin Solo Miner
- XT30 power input replaces the 8 A connector, supporting up to 15 A without voltage sag.
- 1 oz copper & improved trace layout lower board temps by 21.4 % and boost clock stability.
- Spring-mounted heatsink maintains uniform pressure on the BM1370 ASIC for better heat transfer.
- Relocated temperature sensors provide accurate ASIC temperature readings.
- 2 mm FR-4 PCB increases durability while staying lightweight.
- Mechanical one-use fuse replaced by intelligent power monitoring and resettable PSU fuses
- 12 % efficiency gain over revision 5, delivering more hash for every watt.

NerdQaxe++ is a purpose-built, open-source Bitcoin solo miner that utlizes four high-efficiency Bitmain S21 Pro ASIC chipc to a compact, Wi-Fi-enabled control board, giving individuals industrial-grade hash power without industrial fuss. Its fully published hardware files and ESP32-based firmware invite inspection and customization, while a single XT30 power jack, onboard web interface, and 1.96″ LilyGO LCD; capable of cycling live hashrate, board temperatures, Bitcoin price, and network statistics, make everyday operation refreshingly straightforward. In its latest Revision 6, NerdQaxe++ gains thicker one-ounce copper, a fuse-free power path, spring-mounted heatsink, and relocated sensors, allowing it to reach over ≈ 6 TH/s while consuming a little over ≈ 100 watts (≈ 16.5 J/TH) with cooler component temperatures than previous models. The result is the world’s first quad-chip miner that’s quiet enough for a studio apartment yet open enough for developers and hobbyists to bend completely to their will.
You can purchase genuine Nerdaxe hardware exclusively from Solo Satoshi. We ship globally from Houston, Texas, offer a 90-day warranty, and provide expert technical support. Avoid third-party knockoffs and buy from authorized sellers to ensure authenticity and to support open-source development.
Nerdaxe miners are purpose-built for Bitcoin (BTC) mining via the SHA-256 algorithm. They do not support alternative algorithms.
By default, Nerdaxe devices mine Bitcoin (BTC). If you wish to mine other SHA-256-based cryptocurrencies (e.g., Bitcoin Cash or Bitcoin SV), you can point your miner to a compatible pool or node. Note that profitability, block reward structure, and network difficulty differ across coins.
Profitability depends on several factors:
1. Electricity cost
2. Bitcoin price
3. Network difficulty
4. Pool fees

NerdQaxe++: 70.6 W at default settings (14.66 J/TH)
Maximum draw: Up to 103 Watts when overclocked.
1. Solo mining or Lottery mining can yield a full block reward worth 3.125 Bitcoin + transaction fees. Although unlikely, this has happened in both 2024 and 2025, less than 8 months apart..
2. Pool mining aggregates hashrate but splits rewards by share; as of July 24th, 2025, the expected yield per TH/s is apporximately (~$0.06/day) before fees.
All Nerdaxe devices purchased from Solo Satoshi include a 90-day limited warranty covering manufacturing defects. We provide expert technical support via ticketed email system to assist with setup, troubleshooting, and overall customer service inquiries.
No. Nerdaxe miners feature a microcontroller and a web-based interface, so you only need a browser on any device (PC, tablet, or smartphone) to configure and monitor your miner.
1. UL-certified 12.4V/10A (124W) power supply
2. Solo Satoshi stand (for single-unit placement)
3. Quick start guide with full table of contents, safety suggestions, and multiple helpful quick links, to assist with additional questions that arise along the way.
4. An awesome sticker pack!
1. Connect to your miner’s web interface.
2. Navigate to Settings → Scroll to bottom of page.
Check latest releases → Firmware Update → then upload the .bin file.
3. Click Update and wait for the reboot.
“Open source” refers to software (or hardware) whose design, source code, schematics, or blueprints is made freely available for anyone to inspect, modify, and distribute. Consequently, users can:
1. Study how it works by examining the underlying code or designs.
2. Improve it by fixing bugs, adding features, or optimizing performance.
3. Share those improvements back with the community, fostering collaboration and innovation.
Because open-source projects encourage transparency and collective development, they often evolve faster, benefit from peer review, and avoid vendor lock-in, meaning you’re not tied to a single manufacturer for updates or support.
