1. Safety Guidelines (Please Read Carefully)

1.1 Power Supply Safety

  • Use the Provided Power Supply: Third-party power supplies may damage the device or create safety hazards. The power supply supplied by Solo Satoshi has been specifically tested and validated for this device.
  • Note: If you choose to use a third-party power supply, check the output voltage and polarity before connecting it. Using the wrong voltage power supply can permanently damage your Bitaxe and may lead to injury or a fire risk.
  • Avoid Overloading Outlets: Do not connect multiple high-power devices to a single outlet. This can trip breakers and increases the risk of electrical fire.

1.2 Electrical Safety

  • Operate in a dry, well-ventilated area to prevent moisture damage.
  • Unplug the device before performing maintenance, adjustments, or moving it.

1.3 Physical Handling

  • Handle the Bitaxe Turbo Touch with care. Avoid dropping or subjecting it to physical shock.
  • The Bitaxe Turbo Touch features an integrated touchscreen display. Avoid pressing the screen with excessive force or using sharp objects.

1.4 Heat Management

  • Ensure the device is placed in a well-ventilated area. Avoid enclosed spaces.

Note: ASIC chips perform trillions of computations per second and operate at high temperatures (commonly 60 to 70 degrees C, or 140 to 158 degrees F). Surface temperatures near the heatsink may feel hot during operation. This is normal. Your device includes thermal protection settings that will place the miner into “Overheat Mode” if temperatures exceed safe limits.

1.5 Networking Safety

  • Use secure Wi-Fi connections and avoid sharing your network credentials publicly.
  • Set a strong, unique password for your home network.

1.6 General Precautions

  • Keep the Bitaxe out of reach of children and pets.
  • Do not open the casing, remove heatsinks, or modify internal components unless explicitly directed by Solo Satoshi support. Unauthorized modifications will void your warranty.
