Description

The Bitaxe Naja Duo is an open-source Bitcoin solo miner and the first Bitaxe powered by 2 Bitmain BM1373 3nm ASIC chips, delivering ~4.4 TH/s at ~42W with a ~9.5 J/TH efficiency. A Thermalright AXP90-X47 low-profile heatsink and 92mm slim PWM fan provide the thermal headroom to overclock to 8 TH/s.

The BM1373 is the S23-generation chip that succeeds the BM1370 found in the Bitaxe Gamma 602 and Bitaxe GT 801. At default settings the Naja Duo draws the same ~42 Watts as the GT 801 while producing double the hashrate. The unit runs esp-miner firmware with the AxeOS web dashboard, the same fully open-source stack trusted across the entire Bitaxe family, and includes a USB-C port for firmware flashing and updates.

The Bitaxe Naja Duo is the first Bitaxe built on the BM1373 ASIC.

• Two BM1373 ASICs: Bitmain’s 3nm S23-class silicon with 8 hashing domains per chip. Two BM1373s deliver the hashrate class of a four-chip BM1370 board.

• Per-Chip Temperature Monitoring: Each BM1373 reports its own temperature to AxeOS, so throttling and fan control respond to the hotter chip rather than a board average.
• 2-Phase TPS546024A VRM: Power stage sized for the 600 MHz, 1,120 mV overclock profile.

How to Overclock Your Bitaxe Naja Duo

1. Access the AxeOS dashboard from your browser.
2. Navigate to the “Settings” tab.
3. Scroll down to “Mining Settings”.
4. Adjust “Frequency” and “Core Voltage” one tier at a time. Allow ASIC temperatures to stabilize before increasing further.
5. Hit Save, then restart.
6. Monitor per-chip temperatures on the dashboard. The tested ceiling is 600 MHz at 1,120 mV for 8 TH/s.

PSU note: The optional 12.4V 10A power supply is rated for 124W of continuous output. The 92W overclock draw loads it to 74%, inside the 80% ceiling covered in the 80% rule for home mining power.

How to Set Up Your Bitaxe Naja Duo

Setting up the Bitaxe Naja Duo takes about 5 minutes:

1. Step 1: Power On and Connect. Connect the XT30 power supply plug, then plug in AC power. The miner broadcasts a Wi-Fi hotspot. Connect from your phone or computer.
2. Step 2: Configure Wi-Fi. Enter your home network credentials through the AxeOS web interface. The IP address appears on the 1.9″ LCD after restart.
3. Step 3: Enter Your Bitcoin Address. Input any on-chain BTC wallet address. A SegWit address starting with bc1q works best.
4. Step 4: Select Your Pool. Choose solo mining via Public Pool or Solo CKPool, or connect to a payout pool like Ocean Mining or Braiins.
5. Step 5: Start Mining. Save settings. Your Bitaxe Naja Duo is now hashing at 4.4 TH/s.
