    Compatible 5V Bitcoin Miners

Voltage is only the first compatibility check. Connector type, polarity, measured device power, branch-current rating, voltage drop, terminal capacity, fusing, and total sustained load must all match.

    Miner family Connection Guidance
Bitaxe Gamma 602, Supra, Ultra, and Max 5V center-positive barrel branch Compatible when each branch and connector are correctly rated and measured draw remains within the branch limit.
Nerdaxe Gamma 5V center-positive barrel branch Compatible when the exact revision, connector, polarity, branch wire, and measured current are verified.
Bitaxe Gamma Duo 650 Higher-current 5V branch Voltage compatible, but use appropriately rated heavier wiring when its current exceeds the store 16 AWG barrel lead recommendation.
Bitaxe GT, Naja Duo, NerdQaxe++, Turbo Touch, and Gamma Hex Not compatible These are 12V or 12.4V systems. Never connect them to this 5V supply.

    Compatible AC and DC Cords

    Side Cord or lead Guidance
AC input US 3-prong 14 AWG grounded AC pigtail Compatible within its 125V, 10A maximum and 8A recommended continuous rating when installed correctly by qualified personnel.
DC output 5.5 x 2.1mm 16 AWG center-positive barrel pigtail For compatible 5V barrel-input branches within approximately 5A recommended continuous current. Use heavier wiring above the lead limit.

Plan for a grounded AC connection, correctly rated DC branches, crimped terminals, branch protection, distribution hardware, strain relief, and a protective enclosure. Never size wiring from connector shape alone.

    Continuous-Load and Branch Planning

Under the Solo Satoshi 80% guideline, plan sustained mining loads around 240W or 48A before applying any additional temperature, altitude, mounting, wiring, connector, or manufacturer derating. Add actual measured miner consumption and protect each branch according to its conductor and device requirements.

    • Do not crowd loose conductors under one terminal screw.
    • Use properly crimped terminals and distribution hardware rated for the current.
    • Fuse or otherwise protect each branch so its conductor cannot receive the full supply fault current.
    • Keep AC and DC wiring separated, supported, and protected from sharp enclosure edges.
    • Stop immediately if a cable, connector, terminal, or enclosure becomes unusually hot, loose, discolored, or odorous.

The following manufacturer documents are hosted in the Solo Satoshi media library for electrical limits, derating curves, mechanical dimensions, terminal assignments, protection behavior, and installation requirements.

    Safe Installation Checklist

    1. Confirm every connected miner requires 5V DC and identify its connector, polarity, and maximum current.
    2. Plan the AC circuit, grounded input cord, enclosure, DC distribution, branch protection, wire gauges, and terminals before wiring.
    3. With AC disconnected, set the 115/230V selector to match the installation.
    4. Connect line to L, neutral to N, and protective earth to FG.
    5. Connect positive branches to V+ and negative returns to V- with correctly sized, properly crimped hardware.
    6. Before attaching miners, energize safely and measure output voltage and polarity with a reliable meter.
    7. Disconnect AC again, attach branches, close the enclosure, and begin at conservative miner settings.
    8. Monitor voltage at each miner, current draw, terminal temperature, cable temperature, PSU temperature, and stability under sustained load.
