Description

The SeedSigner+ HODL Package combines a stateless, air-gapped Bitcoin signing device with a three-plate fireproof stainless-steel recovery backup, ten d6 casino dice, engraving tools, and serialized tamper-evident storage. SeedSigner+ loads a seed only for the active session and does not retain it after normal power-off.

The SeedSigner+ kit includes the assembled orange device, a blank microSD card, SeedQR cards, and a printed setup page. A USB-C cable and power adapter are not included. The USB-C port supplies power and is not used for transaction data.

SeedSigner+ Workflow

1. Download the official SeedSigner image and its verification files from the official project source.
2. Verify the release before flashing the included blank microSD card.
3. Power the device with a compatible USB-C power source supplied separately.
4. Generate or load the seed offline and confirm the wallet fingerprint.
5. Exchange wallet information and PSBTs through animated QR codes.
6. Power the device off when finished; preserve the seed on the verified physical backups.

Generating a Seed With the Ten d6 Dice

SeedSigner documents 50 individual d6 results for a 12-word seed and 99 results for a 24-word seed. Ten dice speed up collection, but the results still must be read in a fixed order and counted individually.

1. Choose a permanent reading order before the first throw.
2. Roll on a flat surface and record each die exactly once in that order.
3. Continue until the SeedSigner prompt reaches exactly 50 or 99 results.
4. Do not add a 100th result to a 99-result workflow.
5. Verify the completed seed and perform a recovery test before funding the wallet.

Backup and Storage Plan

• Engrave and verify all three fireproof stainless-steel copies before destroying temporary notes.
• Store the copies in separate locations and away from the SeedSigner+ device.
• If using SeedQR, treat it exactly like the written seed because either can restore the wallet.
• If using a passphrase, back it up separately and test the complete recovery path.
• Record each tamper-evident bag serial number; a bag can reveal opening but cannot prevent access.
