Description

The SeedSigner+ Node Package combines a private Bitcoin node, an air-gapped signing device, durable seed backup tools, and physical entropy tools in one self-custody bundle. The package includes a Start9 Server One with 2TB NVMe storage and 16GB memory, a fully assembled SeedSigner+, three stainless steel backup plates, ten casino dice, an SD card reader, and four tamper-evident bags.

The Start9 Server One verifies Bitcoin data and supports compatible self-hosted services. SeedSigner+ signs transactions through QR codes without Wi-Fi or Bluetooth hardware. A SeedSigner USB-C cable is not included.

Start9 Server One

This package includes the current Server One 6600H configuration with an AMD Ryzen 5 6600H processor, 16GB LPDDR5 memory, 2TB NVMe storage, StartOS preinstalled, and wired Gigabit Ethernet. It does not include Wi-Fi.

Bitcoin blockchain synchronization time varies with network speed, software, storage performance, and the current blockchain size. Do not rely on a fixed completion estimate.

SeedSigner+ Air-Gapped Signing Device

SeedSigner+ uses a Raspberry Pi Zero v1.3 without Wi-Fi or Bluetooth hardware, a 2.8-inch display, camera, D-pad controls, and a power-only USB-C port. It signs supported Bitcoin transactions by scanning and displaying QR codes.

The included microSD card is blank. Download the current SeedSigner software, verify the release, and flash the card with the included reader. The package does not include a USB-C cable or USB power adapter for SeedSigner+.

How the Node and Signer Work Together

1. The Start9 server runs compatible Bitcoin node software and verifies blockchain data.
2. A compatible desktop wallet constructs a transaction using information from your node.
3. The unsigned transaction is displayed as one or more QR codes.
4. SeedSigner+ scans and signs the transaction while remaining offline.
5. The wallet scans the signed QR data and broadcasts through your configured node connection.

Privacy and security depend on correct wallet configuration, verified software, secure backups, and safe network practices. Test the complete workflow with a small amount before relying on it for significant funds.

Seed Generation and Steel Backup

The included dice can provide physical entropy when following SeedSigner’s documented dice-roll workflow. Enter every result carefully and continue until the software confirms enough entropy. Do not shorten the process because multiple dice are available.

The steel kit contains three stainless steel plates and engraving tools for recording a supported recovery phrase. Store completed backups separately in secure locations. The steel plates protect the written record, but physical access controls and an accurate recovery test remain essential.

Setup Order

1. Connect the Server One to Ethernet and power, then complete StartOS onboarding.
2. Install compatible Bitcoin node software and allow it to synchronize.
3. Download and verify SeedSigner software, then flash the included blank microSD card.
4. Generate or import a seed using a secure workflow and record the backup accurately.
5. Create the wallet descriptor and connect the wallet software to the Start9 node.
6. Perform a receive, signing, broadcast, backup, and recovery test with a small amount.
