Why This Package
- Three signers, three vendors, three code bases: A firmware vulnerability or supply chain compromise at one manufacturer cannot reach the other two keys. All three are fully open source, Bitcoin-focused, and sign air-gapped by QR code with no shared attack surface.
- Three steel plates: One fireproof, waterproof, corrosion-resistant backup per seed, stored in separate locations. Engraved with the included pen, no hammer needed. No single fire, flood, or break-in removes a key from the quorum.
- Dice entropy: Seeds come from physical rolls in your own hands, not a chip you cannot audit. A 6-sided die yields 2.58 bits per roll, so 99 rolls produce a full 24 word seed. With 10 casino dice, that is 10 throws. The 16-sided dice provide exactly 4 bits per roll for an independent cross-check.
- Tamper-proof seal bags: Nine bags cover all three signers, all three steel plates, and three spares for microSD cards or Keycards, so you can seal every device and backup before storing it. Any attempt to open a bag leaves permanent evidence, so you know at a glance whether a key kept in a safe, a deposit box, or with a family member has been touched. Record each bag’s serial number before storage and verify it on every visit.
- Descriptor backup included: A multisig wallet cannot be rebuilt from seeds alone. Export the wallet descriptor to the microSD cards and store them in separate locations alongside your plates.
